Re: Ebay buyers making false claims

I'd be tempted to email the idiot, and tell him you're submitting his emails to the sheriff to substantiate your libel suit against him.

EBay finally brought their policy up to date with credit card policies, that's why. It doesn't matter if a buyer pays for insurance or not, the insurance isn't for them. It's for the seller. If the package is broken, lost or stolen, that's not the buyer's fault. I don't know why they waited so long to remove that option, it never made sense. Amazon doesn't charge for insurance, and a buyer's credit card doesn't care if he bought from Amazon or an eBay seller. He gets the same protection.

GizmoDVD- See if you can add that seller to your favorite sellers list. If he becomes active again, you'll get an email telling you your favorite seller has an item for sale. If it's within 90 days of your auction, you'll be able to leave feedback.
