Circuit City CC lookup & FYE.com B&M Returns Questions...

Quick questions regarding the in-store return policies of Circuit City & FYE.

I bought a Wii Remote on 12/3/06 from CC using my credit card. I received a Wii remote for Hannukah. I cannot find my receipt, but I want to return the one I bought with my credit card. Would they be able to look up the transaction via my credit card and refund me my money?

I bought a DVD from FYE.com. My sister bought me the same DVD. Can I return a DVD I purchased from FYE.com to the B&M store w/ the invoice?

Moral of the story… Never buy anything.

Also, I apologize if these kind of questions were posted in a FAQ.

CC should be able to look up the transaction since you used a credit card. You should be able to get your card credited.

You can return an FYE.com order to an FYE store. You'll need your packing slip and a print out of the confirmation e-mail(the e-mail has the price listed, the packing slip does not).
