Amazon Return

Hello. I recieved my Roswell Season 1 today and it was smashed. I called amazon and the guy I could barely understand said to send it back for replacement. Now how should I send it back? It came UPS. Do I have to pay to ship it back? Thanks

there should be a return option in your account. It'll give you the option of having it picked up usps, ups, or dropping it off somewhere. they pay for the return (at least in my case) and you can print off a pre-paid label from the site. good luck

you can also have a ups courrier pick it up free of charge. there should be that option out there for you. just make sure the reason is thtat the product is damaged or defective. Otherwise they may try to charge you for the shipping. Bastards!

Amazon will probably not authorize UPS pick up for a DVD collection.

I received my copy of Roswell Season One on this past Friday. It was totally smashed all to hell, the outer packaging, spines of ALL slimcases inside...it was awful. I phoned their CS, got a foreign person so i hung up and called back until i got someone i could understand, LOL. He was very apologetic, ordered a replacement and gave me a url to print a return label. Hopefully my replacement will be here Tuesday.

Amazon outsourced most of their customer service overseas (either Philippines or India). That's why most people are experiencing "communication" with the other end.

To say they have outsourced most of there customer service is inaccurate. It is a small minority compared to the call centers they have in the US.

I do have a news flash, when you get someone on the phone with an accent, they are not always in another country.
