Question about DDD shipping

I ordered some discs from DeepDiscountDVD.com and some of it was backordered. I got shipping notice for my Flight Of The Navigator. Then 5 days later I got shipping notice for another package of 2 dvds. I have now recieved the 2 discs that shipped after Flight of the Navigater. Should I be worried? Is it normal for stuff that shipped later arrive before the stuff that shipped beforehand?

It's usually common for them, but if you are really worried definitely call.

Go to this thread (which is long) to read about others commenting on this.

Look through the last 3 or 4 pages.

Lots of people share that experience - the Post Office is really weird with Media Mail, and I wouldn't be concerned. (And unless it's been a few weeks since the shipping notce, it would be a waste of time to call, since they'll just tell you to call back anyway.)

It's normal. It's been my experience that I receive packages of 2-3 dvds from them quicker than single disc shipments.

I'm the opposite. I get the single discs way faster than the multiple title shipments:

Case in point. Received some single dvds shipped on 7/6 already. Have yet to receive my package of 8 dvds that was shipped on 6/28

Same here. I received all my single dvds. The one big order that shipped on the 6/24 has yet to arrive. Ugh, media mail to Hawaii is a pain.

DDD ships from less than 3 hours away from my house and it still takes anywhere from 4 to 7 days to get it.

I'm still waiting on several orders which shipped 6/22 and thereabouts, too.

Same here. If the box they use is bigger than a normal mail box slot I'll recieve that box 2 or 3 days faster than if it was a single disc in a small box.

Received my big order today a little over 4 weeks later, but at least it showed up and in perfect condition. That's the last of my orders so I'm a satisfied customer.

Received my 3 orders today too, funny thing is they had shipped on different days from DDD but they all arrived on the same day. I also received a box from Columbia House which took 4 weeks. Sounds like the USPS just waited until there were enough boxes to fill the barge to Hawaii and then they ship everything at once for media mail.
