Question about Netflix availability

So, I finally joined the 21st century a month or so ago, and signed up for Netflix. Overall, I've been very happy with their service. But I'm now confused about the availability of a DVD I want to watch.

It's Eddie Izzard: Circle. According to amazon.com, it hit DVD on September 23, 2003. I've seen it at Best Buy. But Netflix shows it as unreleased with an unknown release date. Why is that? Have any of you encountered this scenario before?

Have you contact netflix about this? On their website is a contact us section, you can explain this situation to them. A similar circumstance happen to me; a title was listed as "very long wait and out of print" however a newer release was available, I submitted this information and sure enough after a week I got the new release.

I have emailed them, but it was only earlier today. They haven't had a chance yet to respond. I'm hoping that the disc will become "available" soon.
