All mine are gone and I can't log into Advantage either.

Amazon appears seriously broken!

My orders are all back again. Back and forth. How interesting. Wonder how many times my order will disappear and reappear before it stablizes.

Why aren't they sending out emails or at least putting a notice on the front page?

I called Customer Service last night regarding Ed Wood. They said that there was a database failure (understatement). Their order processing database is evidently different from their repository/history database. The CS rep could not do anything for me until the database was restore and when that would be was not known.

So they could still take orders even if they did not know what order had been previously taken. They could still do business. No need to publisize that fact that on database is down. It would cause more CS chatter than not saying anything.

If they can't get at the existing order then they don't know who has outstanding orders. Thus, how can they send an email out?

I would like to know which database they use and if it was an upgrade that caused this.

Mine are gone again! This is making me a bit nervous since I have three separate orders due to ship in about a week.

Has anyone got an actual explanation from Amazon as to why this keeps happening?

They are experimenting with their variable ordering now. Last year or so they messed with their variable pricing with some success.
