Question about Overstock.com

I'm thinking of buying a DVD from overstock.com and I noticed that they use media mail to deliver. I was just wondering if anyone ever had problems recieving a timely order (e.g. some DDD customers) from overstock.

Thanks a lot.

I have had good luck with them shipping-wise. I just ordered a DVD on 7/25 and received it on 7/28. I live in Eastern PA, and it was shipped from North Jersey if that gives you a better idea. The other thing I really like about them is that they package very well. The items usually arrive in mint condition...

It really depends on what you order from them. They stock some items and drop ship others from lots of different places.

I've had good experiences (1-2 weeks with free shipping) on product that ship from their warehouse and some bad (3+ weeks with no ability to track) on orders that were drop-shipped.

I've had priority mail, media mail, first class and UPS ground, UPS Overnight from my orders with Overstock.

I think most of the stuff is drop shipped anyhow. I got a digital camera two days after I ordered it!

Their turnaround is excellent and their s&h is so cheap its practically free ($1.40 an item). They're my rebound site after being let down by DDD.
