fye.com slow in shipping?

I've got a 9 item order with fye.com that has been pending for over a week with all items showing as "in stock." Anyone else have a similiar problem with them? The pricing was good, but if they are never going to ship I'll go elsewhere!

No problems here with items in stock. Longest waiting time has been four days to ship. You should call customer service and see if there is a reason for the delay.

No problems here. I have noticed that the statuses are at least a day off i.e. DVDs are shipped a day earlier than they are stated on the "Order Status" page. Otherwise, USPS priority mail has suddenly changed into a 1-day service.

5 DVD orders, 4 shipped (& received in 2 days) - 1 on back-order . . .

Anyone have the customer service number? I cannot find it ANYWHERE on the website. I opened a ticket via email but have not heard anything for a few days.

They did try to reach me via phone but the voicemail containing their call back number was unintelligeable.

Actually, I've been very pleased. I ordered the Alec Guinness Collection last Wednesday and had it on Saturday. The Peter Sellers Collection (which streets tomorrow) was shipped on Friday and I got it today.

My order was placed on 1/16 and Shipped on 1/20 (7:55pm).

Well I went to the fye again today to see if my stuff shipped. It didn't appear in open orders so I thought they finally shipped. Nope! It is now listed in the cancelled orders. No explanation given. My original email has still gone unanswered. I was a first time customer and will never shop there again.

Did you call them for an explanation? If you followed any of the FYE threads in the bargains forum they seem to ignore email, and phoning is the only way to get help. I have had good results with customer service helping me with several orders by phone.

Also you noted that FYE did try to make contact with you. There have been several posts regarding similar problems like yours were the order was cancelled. Some said customer service contacted them to verify their billing and shipping information. And to confirm if they made the order on the website before they would ship. If they can't make contact they will cancel the order.

So far so good for me. I placed an order a month ago with the 15% coupon and received fast shipping(FedEx 2nd Day). I just placed an order for 8 preorders and 2 in stock items late on Monday night and received a shipping confirmation for the 2 in stock items this morning. Plus, everything has been billed correctly thus far.

Not at all. I placed an order last Monday for 5 DVDs. 2 were in-stock - shipped Tuesday - and I got them Thursday. I got Bourne Identity yesterday (shipped Friday) which was the release date.
