BankOne Amazon Visa GC
I just received my monthly statement from BankOne saying I had earned enough points for a GC. It also states that it will be mailed (emailed I assume) within 14 days. Has anyone received one yet? I haven't seen a single post about people receiving them, or any possible problems.

The deal with that is BankOne is purchasing the GCs directly from Amazon.com to send to it's card-holders. There were some issues with the GC that people were supposed to receive with either their first purchase or online approval.
If you don't receive a GC in the email within the next 2 weeks, contact Bank One to see what their protocol is with this. Amazon CS will just transfer you to them anyways. I'm guessing that it'll be emailed though it might be redeemed directly to your Amazon.com account, like some of the other GCs for approval were. -meth |

I got the first one of mine... in regular mail. It was a sheet of paper with a "gift certificate" at the bottom with the code printed on it. I just used it the other day, and it worked fine.

Got my first earned one (not counting the one I got for signing up for and using the card) last week and used it yesterday. Same thing, it's a sheet of paper that says Amazon GC, the value and the code. Also came with a packing slip in the envelope.

My first reward certificate came the same day as that month's statement, in a different envelope of course.

I still haven't gotten a GC from when I signed up for the account, in Sept/Oct. Frustrating.

Are the $25 reward certificates mailed first class? Or do they look like junk mail? I hope I didn't through mine out with the piles I get every day.

I called the 1-800# on the back of the card and got the big brush off. They told me to contact amazon via their website. (Big help.) So I sent off an email and we'll see what happens. It's "only" been 3 1/2 months since I got the **!#(@! card...

I'm still waiting for the GC to arrive from points earned.
BTW: I have over 4,800 points earned. Does anyone remember what that equals in a GC?

It is 2500 points for a $25 GC, so you should have one coming, and you are 200 points from a second. They only come in $25 amounts.

I received my initial $30 for signing up awhile ago.
Thought that Amazon.Ca purchases weren't supposed to double for points, but on my last billing I saw were both my Amazon and Amazon.Ca purchases were awarded double points! Great deal if it continues considering how many box sets I've been buying from Amazon.CA!

Just received my first $25 reward GC. I honestly remember being told that they would be sent via email though.
