Kudos! To Amazon ...Again
I got a shipping confirmation email from Amazon on Tuesday. I was suprised at this since I hadn't ordered anything recently.
It was for "Beauty And The Beast". Thanks to this forum, I ordered it when they first posted it and mistakenly priced it at 0.00. There was no release date at the time, so I couldn't check out. This happened with several DVDs over time that they made good on. "The Insider" was another title that I got for 0.00 a couple years ago. We had figured that it was a mistake and they probably wouldn't honor it but they did.
I told my wife that I must've ordered it over a year ago and it stayed in the cart at 0.00. With it's upcoming release I made the mental note to check and see if was still there, but I forgot.
Well, I checked my order status at Amazon and the order date was September 2, 2000. Over two years ago! They made good on the mistake! Or their system did anyway.
I spent over $2500 of Jaboom GCs with Amazon, but I didn't give them all my business. Jaboom died and I availed myself of few other incentives and deals from them. Then, when they did that price scaling based on the number of times you viewed an item, I dropped them cold completely. Unless there was a coupon or deal that is. Maybe I should reconsider and give them more of my business again.
