J&R in downtown NYC is currently NOT accepting the $5 off Scorpion King coupon until they hear word from Universal that they will be reimbursed.

I spoke to the Manager and told him that I had just spent $3000 on a Sony Rear Projection HDTV (KP-57WV700) yesterday. He said if I had the receipt he would have givien me the $5 off. I said, check your system for my purchase yesturday. He wouldn't, but said he would give me a credit if they hear from Universal and start accepting the coupon.

You beleive that shite? If I wasn't getting such a good deal on the HDTV ($2,865), I would have cancelled my order just out of principal.

BTW, J&R is no longer taking $2 off per dvd with the Wall Street Rising Discount Card (http://www.wallstreetrising.org/). You can only use the $10 off $100 purchase discount.
