How does CDNow do with shipping internationally?

I ordered Lord of the Rings 5 Disk set to have sent to Japan when it comes out. Has anyone had experience with CDnows shipping to another country. They use DHL and I know I have had problems with DHL in the past (longgggg wait times) when I bought something from Allposters.

CDNow can be sloooow for international customers. It generally takes about three weeks for a parcel to reach Australia, but I've had a parcel arrive 45 days after shipping.

Still, if the price is good enough...

If that's the case, I might change my order to DVDEmpire when they start selling it. I really want the 5 disker and want it soon after it's released.
