Deepdiscountdvd and Superbit...
From what I understood, the Superbit version of Fifth Element was released on the 9th, right? I hadn't received a shipping confirmation by today, so I called them; the CSR I spoke to told me that it had been pushed back until the 25th. Has anybody had a similar problem? If I can just order it from somewhere else, I'll probably go ahead and cancel my order. None of the local stores have it though.

They are definately out. I picked up 5th element and crouching tiger(first time buying the movie) on sunday at best buy. Also saw all the other superbit releases as well

I must have been lucky with my Superbit orders from Deep Discount. I preordered Fifth Element and Air Force One a little over a week before release date. Both shipped soon after, and I had them by release date.

I guess that CSR just didn't know what he was talking about. I wrote an e-mail to them explaining the problem. I never got a response, but my copy shipped today. Go figure.
