Enjoy the draft! It's the only thing you have to look forward to the next few years
I'm not sure what I couldn't handle, I was more confused at what other reason you would have to throw a dig at me out of nowhere and completely unsolicited for no reason. Just seemed silly to me since I have no other real history with you and you didn't even respond to my last response to you about the Rockets. Plus, I had no delusions of the Thunder winning the series.

I'm glad to see the weather is fair enough for you to conveniently show up and post during the playoffs though!

Breaking news: Manu Ginobili has scored his first three points of the playoffs!

Edit: Add three more points!

I didn't even notice Manu hadn't scored this postseason. I know he's not the same guy anymore, but still crazy.

Andre Roberson is 3 for 21 from the free throw line this series. How the fuck is that possible?

Anyone care to explain why Pau is coming off the bench and hardly playing?

Yeah, it's crazy that he was even worse then Shaq, Dwight, DeAndre, or whomever else normally gets hacked at the end of games. I don't know how an NBA player is that bad, but it clearly got in his head.

During the first half of the regular season, Pau was terrible on defense and Dedmon had a defensive prowess to him. When Pau got his hand injury, Dedmon was given the starting position for the rest of the season, and Pau become a bench player. Since then, Pau has become a great threat from the three point line and Dedmon's value, at least in my eyes, has gone down - it seems like on the regular he commits two fouls within the first two or three minutes of the game, causing Pau to come in.

Suppose Popovich doesn't want a lackadacial Gasol out there on defense.

Also...
Spurs.
Jazz.
Thunder.

I assume Gerald Green will be starting again in game 5. I guess Brad Stevens really is a genius.

Wasn't David Lee starting when Pau was out? At the very least he was surprisingly relevant for fantasy in that period, and he's like a defensive sieve.

um, he started only about half of the Spurs games this year. And he's averaged 24 minutes in the 5 playoff games, and 25.4 minutes in the regular season, so not sure where "hardly playing" comes in.

Re: 2017 NBA Playoffs

So do you all think they give Westbrook the MVP as a consolation prize, or does the Rockets' win make Harden a lock for it?

Yep all end of year awards ballots were due before playoffs started. They're just waiting a month to announce the winners.

Besides 2 playoff games and some games late in the season, I don't think Lee started off much midway through the season, unless my memory is faulty.

That's about half a game. For a guy that got a nice contract and was the big free agent that the Spurs WANTED to get, 24 minutes is hardly playing.

That makes sense. He was always soft, even on the Lakers. But is David Lee actually any better?

Spurs ended up with the second best record in the league and have a 3 - 2 advantage over the Grizzlies, I don't think Gasol is going to complain if they're winning.

Right now, Lee is much more preferable to defending Randolph than Pau Gasol. Love his enthusiasm and energy! Lee was on the floor about midway of the fourth quarter and the Grizzlies were close and helped provide some great baskets.

Answered definitively tonight -- Lee had some key rebounds and put backs, Pau was... well, he was out there I guess.

Re: 2017 NBA Playoffs

Yeah, Lee did prove his worth during the 4th. And surprised at what Parker is doing compared to the first round last year against Memphis. They are going to need him for the Rockets.

Spurs/Rockets should be fun, Spurs won the regular season series 3-1 but all 4 games were really close. Including some Kawhi heroics.

Re: 2017 NBA Playoffs

I like John Wall, so glad the Wizards won. Looks like they'll move on to play Boston... sucks to wonder how it would have gone if Rondo stayed healthy, but I honestly feel like the Celtics would have still won. And hey, any team that has a better chance of beating Cleveland is nice
