Awesome game.

Nova played 7 guys (and that's their typical rotation outside of blowouts). They committed 8 fouls total. Very well disciplined.

Hart and Jenkins only had 20 between them....the other guys kept them in it until they got hot in the 2nd half.

Terps once again outplay their opponent in the last 2-3 minutes in a tight game. Melo sucked in the first half but was huge in the 2nd. Undefeated on the road.

Now Purdue at home on Saturday.

Great win for Creighton at Butler. Not done yet.

Great game for Brent to go out on last night. Monk was bonkers in 2nd half and OT for UK. An absolute onions shot to send it into OT....so much arc to avoid the block. When he's on, he's unstoppable.

KU - Baylor is a really good game. Tied at 65 with under 3 minutes left.

Awesome close out by Kansas!!!

Edit : Just saw on Sports Center that Bill Self now has 9 consecutive wins at home over Top 5 ranked schools- the most in NCAA history.
And Scott Drew has now lost more games (10) in Allen Fieldhouse than Bill Self has (9).

Re: College Hoops, 2016-17 (through the Conference Tourneys)

Terps screwed the pooch today. Blew a 12 point lead at home. No FGs in the last 7 minutes (lots of FTs). Got a gift at the end to try and win it and could not hit the shot. Still haven't beaten a sure fire tourney team.

Great upset by ISU.

On the bright side, Navy lost at Colgate, so Bucknell now has a 3-game lead in the loss column in the Patriot.

Re: College Hoops, 2016-17 (through the Conference Tourneys)

Can't believe that Kansas lost their 50+ game home win streak to ISU. Jayhawks were just about perfect in the first half, shooting 70% overall, 50 from 3, perfect at the line and only allowed 3 rebounds to ISU in the first half, and up 14 at the break. Then everything fell apart in the second and the Cyclones hit EVERYTHING from downtown. I missed the end because I was working but they pulled it out in OT. Congrats to them - - Hell of a win for them.

Of course after I post that, Baylor comes roaring back. Cut it to 2 with 2 left.

K-State hangs on. Awesome D at the end.

So KU and Baylor both lose at home today.

Huge win for K-State.

Agreed. But I must say if this mid-tier KState team can beat Baylor and play on the road and lose to KU by 2 it tells us where the conference is overall. Heck, this year's team might not even make the tournament.
I'm pretty sure this KState team would get destroyed against the KState team that won the conference in 2013.

Who am I to say tho, my AZ Wildcats got blasted.

Here's something you don't see every day. St. Bonaventure's fans stormed the floor thinking their team had pulled off a 1-point victory. But there was still time left on the clock. A technical foul was assessed. Their opponent, VCU, tied the game on the free throw and won the game in OT.

Louisville was already going into Virginia down 2 guys because of injury. Now they're sitting 2 others because of a missed curfew. Considering they can't figure out UVA when everyone's available, this could get ugly.

Bucknell crushes Holy Cross to get to 11-1. Hit 9 treys in the first half. Puts them 3 up in the league with 6 to play.

Big, important win for Kansas at the Octagon of Doom, where they have struggled recently. Third game in 5 days, 48 hours after a crushing OT loss at home with a two-player bench. They took K-state's best shot early and rallied back. Frank Mason III looked exhausted but he still gave 21 points and hit his FTs late. Now they finally get a few days to rest.

Terps with a stinker tonight at PSU. Offense has looked like crap going back to 10 min left vs. PUR Saturday. PSU earned this in the paint and foul shooting.

Terps really struggled down the stretch last year and that was a veteran team. Hope not this year.

Tough loss for the Gamecocks. Sindarius Thornwell of South Carolina passed Pistol Pete Maravich for the most FTA in a game in SEC history. He also is the 1st player in the last 20 seasons with 40 points, 10 offensive rebounds & 10 defensive rebounds in a game.

LaMelo Ball, the younger brother of UCLA PG Lonzo Ball, scored 92 points tonight.

41 in the 4th quarter.

He's already committed to UCLA. He's probably going to be UCLA's starting PG next year since Lonzo is probably leaving.
