Hate the Bucknell matchup. Was fearing WVU and they drew them. Ugh.

I could see all 4 #1s not making it to Arizona, tough roads for them all but Kansas has the hardest getting to the elite 8
Gonzaga's region is the weakest of the 4

Definitely not complaining about Maryland's draw.

How they ended up as 6 and Wisky 8, I have no idea. I guess the committee didn't watch B1G basketball.

Re: College Hoops, 2016-17 (through the Conference Tourneys)

I was drafting my own brackets but it took too long and it wasn't until 6pm that I finished. Well after the announcement show had begun. But here's what I came up with:

First Four (Dayton)
Tuesday E16: UC Davis (BW) vs New Orleans (Southland)
Tuesday S12: Rhode Island (A10-3) vs USC (P12-4)
Wednesday M16: M16: NC Central (MEAC) vs Mt St Mary's (NE)
Wednesday E11: Wake Forest (ACC-9) vs Kansas State (B12-6)

I wan't going to make anyone in Dayton have to play 2 days later in Sacramento (like the selection committee did). I limited First Four participants to play in the Milwaukee, Buffalo, Indy, Greenville or Tulsa subregionals.

Subregionals:

Thursday/Saturday

Buffalo:
MW5/12: Purdue v Vermont
MW4/13: Notre Dame v Bucknell
E8/9: Maryland v South Carolina
E1/16: Villanova v PIG-16

Milwaukee:
E5/12: Virginia v NC-Wilmington
E4/13: West Virginia v Princeton
S5/12: Cincinnati v PIG-12
S4/13: Butler v E. Tennessee St

Orlando:
W5/12: Iowa St v Nevada
W4/13: Florida v New Mexico St
M6/11: Creghton v Middle Tennessee
M3/14: Florida $tate v Iona

Salt Lake:
M7/10: Dayton v Marquette
M2/15: Arizona v North Dakota
W8/9: Virginia Tech v Oklahoma St
W1/16: Gonzaga v South Dakota St

Friday/Sunday

Greenville SC:
W7/10: Michigan v Seton Hall
W2/15: Duke v Troy
S8/9: Wichita St v VCU
S1/16: North Carolina v Jacksonville St

Indianapolis:
E6/11: Wisconsin v PIG-11
E3/14: Louisville v FL Gulf Coast
S7/10: Miami (Florida) v Michigan St
S2/15: Kentucky v TX Southern

Tulsa:
S6/11: Minnesota v Xavier
S3/14: Baylor v Winthrop
M8/9: Arkansas v Northwestern
M1/16: Kansas v PIG-16

Hey, I found Syracuse.

They drew a #1 seed in the NIT, along with Iowa, Illinois State and Cal.

Forced to go to WI. ACC/B1G challenge. And the way the committee shit on Wisky, if he beat them it may not have mattered.

Looking at the seeds, he would have gotten in had URI lost.

You're right. They were the third A-10 team, yet on my spreadsheet I had them as A10-3 (play-in eligible) rather than A10-1 (protected). The 4th play-in team would've been Xavier or Providence had I encoded URI correctly.
