Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

I don't think I've ever drafted that low to start.

Also, I like the current waiver system.

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

Ok- for now we will keep the waiver system in this league the way it has been. I have 2 votes for a change on ESPN and 2 for keep it the same. We will experiment with it in the Auction league for those playing both. It makes sense to test it in a league that already uses Auction drafting. I will propose this change again next year as well.

Pay structure updated as we are good to go for draft on Sunday!

I have to attend a graduation event at the time of the draft, but maybe I can get a few picks in then show up late.

You can draft via phone app as well if you are able to access

Sure, if I want to just sit there on my phone the whole time.

Thanks everyone for the fast draft. It only took about an hour and five minutes. Good luck!

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

Note to all:

I am aware of WD Forte's lack of participation over the past few weeks and this week it had a major impact on the game with 4 bye players left on the starting roster and star players on the bench. I have reached out to Forte via email and hope to hear back by Tuesday. If I do not hear back, I would like input from others on how to proceed as it is having a major impact on playoff races.

Thanks,

David

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

That sucks, especially because I'm still behind WD Forte in the standings.

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

I will say that when he played me in week 7 he didn't start a QB, but he had both Dak and Cam on bye and I don't think you can drop one of them. So, I don't think that was egregious.... Edited to add I just noticed that he has been making moves and setting his lineup in the All Star League. He made waiver adds on Nov. 2.

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

Maybe he stopped making moves because he's essentially out of the running and doesn't feel it's worth his time anymore. I'm doing just as poorly in the All Star League, but will continue to at least field a starting lineup of active players even though I know I'm going to finish at the bottom of the standings.

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

I have heard nothing back from Forte since I sent my email.

Moving forward- I will do my best to examine his lineup before each week and I will adjust his line-up based on what ESPN projects will give him the most points. If I start to see activity again then I will not adjust his lineup. I'm not thrilled to be doing this as we all agree to be active participants regardless of records.

He started 3-3, though, so that's pretty early to shut it down. I'm out of the running so decided not to make any roster moves this week, but I'll still be working my lineup.

One - I never received an email from you.
Two - Last week I had an issue were every ESPN league I'm in didn't register my changes. I swap inactives every other week otherwise. Look at all my past weeks.

I don't know why you decide to call me out after we've had people that pack it in after a few weeks in past years. You posted the same thing in the other thread talking about weeks of inactivity, and it's simply not true. My lineup was updated every week in the Auction League prior to this weekend.

I wasn't calling you out but I had no choice but to assume that you were no longer participating. This was not just a one week issue. This was the second week in which your roster was not updated and this one was drastic. I also checked to see when you last made any league activity until today was 2 weeks ago in both leagues. One league you played an inactive player 2 weeks ago and last week you played many on bye weeks. You have made almost no other activity since the draft in one of the leagues other than a few active roster changes.

I can say that I am a little frustrated that you come in angry when this is the last thing I want to be wasting my limited free time doing. Even if you are claiming that this was a "one week issue", you should have reached out to me to let me know. I had no other alternative then to seek out the opinions of other league members as your lack of activity with no notification is having playoff implications and I didn't just want to start making roster changes without notifying the rest of the league.

I will send PM's out to you specifically in the future but I don't think it is fair that you are trying to put this issue on me.

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

All I'm trying to say is that I thought I set all of my rosters last week and for some reason the changes didn't save. Same thing happened one week a few years ago (must be a browser issue). Other than that, yes like a dope I forgot to set a QB two weeks ago.

Re: 2016 Legends Fantasy Football League

Damn. Had the first overall pick, was in 1st place all year at 11-2, but lost the championship match :/

When can we expect payment OP?

This was fun, but I think I will only participate next season if the bench size is decreased to 5, maybe 6 at most. It's just too easy for people to stash players to keep them off other rosters with the current format. The waiver wire was slim pickings most of the year, I was lucky to have drafted well.

Congrats to Frey Meat Pie!

This was the only league where I was never competitive. Eddie Lacy and Eli will do that to you.
