What exactly has Stones done to warrant being the 2nd highest expensive defender ever?

Decent young player, but ridiculously overpriced.

Hope he enjoys his time on the bench.

Note on the above post - Theres no Saturday 10:00 am ET match on NBCSN this weekend due to Olympic coverage.
Starting next Saturday there will be one Saturday 10:00 am ET match on NBCSN and one Saturday 10:00 am ET match on CNBC.
My on-screen TV Guide for next Saturday has CNBC showing Watford vs Chelsea match with the NBCSN match being TBD.

Fuck off to having our first match on the only channel I don't get.

Luckily, I have another source for watching matches

Leicester become the first champions of England to lose the first match of their title defense since Arsenal in 1989.

Everton leads Tottenham 1-0 at the half on a cracker of a free-kick by Ross Barkley just 5 minutes into the match.
Garret Bale should have leveled things up during first half injury time.
Update - Sigh, ended in a 1-1 draw - Eric Lamala scored a header 15 minutes into the second half.
Exciting match! Both teams had numerous chances to score a second goal.

Re-Liverpool on TV in Canada - Astrochimp, you should be fine the next five weeks.
Next week their match vs Burnley is on Sportsnet One and the following weeks match vs Tottenham is on the Sportsnet Ontario.
Then two weeks of matches on the TSNs before returning to Sportsnet Ontario on Week #6.

Holy hell, Sunderland are very hard to watch.

I was at least hoping for some type of experimental side/formation from Pep, but instead we get a crappy Sunderland 4-2-3-1 v. City's lazy 4-2-3-1.

First game and all that. And a letdown was a foregone conclusion.

However, they really weren't that good last season, a season I think time will prove to be a historic low point, but they looked bad this morning. A top half finish will be an accomplishment.

Defoe goes off and Paddy McNair comes on for his Sunderland debut and scores!

Wrong goal though Paddy!

How does Phil not get his hat trick?

Arsenal in tatters at the back right now. You guys look very good in this second half.

Yeah, that should have been 3 for Phil there.

Arsenal are even worse at the back than us. I guess in their defense, they are missing a few pieces.
