Next year's class is supposed to be weaker (Dungy, Derrick Brooks, and Marvin Harrison) so that means that some of the guys (Strahan, Bettis, etc) will probably make it. I'd like to see Tim Brown get in next year.
Brooks should be a lock for first ballot HOF.

I don't want too really say if anyone elected should or should not be in the HOF,but am I the only one who thinks that there are too many players in the HOF? Shouldn't it be alittle harder too get in not to delute the HOF?

Plus, why aren't their CFL players in the HOF?

If you're comparing it to Cooperstown, don't forget football teams have 11 positional players on offense and defense compared to just 9 in baseball.

Re: Pro Football Hall of Fame - Class of 2013

I'd still like to see Don Coryell get in the Hall of Fame. Hell, he deserves it for turning the hapless St. Louis Cardinals into division champions! A lot of people forget how well he did there and how quickly he turned that team around.

And he did the same thing in San Diego with the Chargers (as he had done with the Aztecs 18 years earlier). He invented the I formation. His offensive scheme is still used today. The Rams, "Greatest show on turf," offense was the Coryell offense. His influence on the game was undeniable. And he had great success in both St. Louis and San Diego. If not for a GM who wouldn't spend enough money to give Coryell a top notch defense the Chargers would have easily won a Super Bowl (maybe two).

But now he doesn't even make the finalists list. He is still the only head coach in history to win 100 games both as a college HC and an NFL HC. The only one.

It is nice to see Cris Carter get in. The guy was one of the all time greatest receivers. He had unbelievably good hands. If I were putting together an all time team he'd be one of my receivers for sure.

Yeah-I know that but when the Pittsburgh Steelers waterboy(just joking) from the 1970s makes it in-thats alittle much.

Going by stats, alot of QBs don't belong, including Joe Namath. Would Terry Bradshaw be in the HOF if he didn't when 4 Super Bowls? The thing about Bradshaw,he didn't fuck-up a good thing which goes too his credit.

I was going to say 25 positions, but I guess a punter or long snapper will never get in.
