I was hoping after that dumb speech last night that Cena would take off for a couple months.

Re: The May 2012 Wrestling Thread: Punk vs. Bryan. PPV. That is all.
I also understand Lesnar's POV. If I was told things were supposed to go one way, and then they changed them on me, I would be upset as well. Granted, I wouldn't go destroying everything in my path, but I would be peeved. While I hope I am wrong, there is a possibility WWE brought Lesnar back solely for the purpose of humiliating him for the way he left about eight years ago. They know he has no more future in UFC, so they can pretty much screw with him all they want. My guess is that if his contract only requires two dates a month, it will be one Raw broadcast and one PPV appearance. Not much to really build.
I wonder what the Bellas are going to do now? I wouldn't be surprised if they leave the business altogether and pursue other interests. If they wind up on TNA , then that would mean they must have really hit hard times.

If TNA had their way, the Bellas would be world champions by pinning Samoa joa clean

Speaking of Samoa Joe, who was behind his kidnapping around two and a half years ago?

So is Lesnar done? I figured this was just a build up to HHH/Lesnar, since they never had a singles feud/match together before...but maybe not.

Here's the WWE.com clip of Eve firing the Bellas.

Re: The May 2012 Wrestling Thread: Punk vs. Bryan. PPV. That is all.
from LOP
As we've been reporting here on the site, Brock Lesnar did throw a tantrum backstage after Extreme Rules, f4wonline.com is reporting that it was partially a 'work' on the locker room as a way to convince people that Cena going over was the right decision. Lesnar was upset about the finish, but "some, if not most" of the situation was not entirely legitimate. WWE tried to have word leak out on Monday that Lesnar had quit the company, likely to get the "dirt sheets" reporting it so people would be surprised when Lesnar showed up on RAW. However, by the time that this was going on, it was already out there that Lesnar was at the arena and going to be at RAW.

^ Crap like this is what Vince Russo thought got ratings in WCW's dying days. It didn't work then, and it won't work now.
That skirt really accentuated Eve's booty.

That's all dumb. Seriously, this isn't 1995, WWE. We know about storylines. Stop trying to work your own employees and the fans.

Re: The May 2012 Wrestling Thread: Punk vs. Bryan. PPV. That is all.
I wouldn't put it past Cena to do that to Lesnar though. Who wants to lose their top spot after all? When I first saw the "speech" on Raw I rolled my eyes because he does that ALL the time after big matches, trying to get fans on his side. It's quite sad.

That's what they were wearing on RAW.

He's been missing from WWE tv for the past two Raws, but us here in Chicago have been seeing David Otunga on our nightly news via sketches like these

I hope that doesn't mean they've found a videotape of them both...or worse yet, they intend to wrestle again.

Wait, what's going on with Otunga in Chicago and a trial? Is this over Jennifer Hudson's family member being killed from a couple of years ago?

That's what it is. Understandable that he'd be there for his fiancee.
