That was a pretty dirty hit to the head by the "best player in the world" Giroux. Nice that he did it after chirping and complaining to the officials mid-shift. But remember, Crosby is the guy who is the whiner and can't keep his composure.

I really hope the Devils don't win another Cup. I get that it's technically been a while, but they've won 3 (I'm pretty sure) since 1995 and I hated that team and never could get myself interested in their franchise. I'm not thrilled with any team in the East, but ANY of the others would be ok with me getting to the finals.

They do seem dialed in almost like the Kings.

Who said anything about being jealous of Phila sports? I certainly didn't. I simply said it's a one-way rivalry. Pittsburgh fans want to beat Phila any time we play and Phila fans do not care.

My wife is a Pittsburgh native and I know many many people from there.

It's very similar to Philadelphia's inferiority complex to New York. It's not about sports. It's about cities.

Not surprisingly, STL/LA was the lowest rated game aired on NBC OTA in the playoffs....easily. It got a 1.0. Well below the playoff average of 1.7 and the next lowest (1.5).

There may be a lot of people in L.A., but they ain't watching hockey. Particularly on a Sunday afternoon.
