Given the guys in the SD chamber, I'm thinking that Bryan keeps the belt going into Mania.

If Daniel Bryan drops the belt before mania, they should have him run in during Takers mania match and start attacking takers opponent thus causing taker to lose by DQ. that would give DB so much heel heat

Huh, Khali? Am I so out of the loop on SD that Khali has come back in the last week and has earned and spot in a World Title match?

According to storyline, Henry was first announced, but he demanded a title match on Smackdown. Teddy denied him the title match, and threw him out of the Chamber match. Then Henry was suspended for "putting his hands on the GM". Khali is announced as his replacement. Don't know why.

In reality, Henry's got several injuries, and had no time to rest from his initial TLC groin injury.

Hell, throw Justin Gabriel in there rather than the Punjabi Pile. It would be a boost for him, even if he doesn't win.

I can't help but think this has something to do with the 'focus groups of 12-17 year olds' that were mentioned in last month's thread.

Re: The February '12 Pro Wrestling Thread - Elimination Chamber/Against All Odds

Why are they doing this to Natalya? This is on the level of making the major point of Molly Holly that she had a big butt. I wonder how long it will be before we see matches where Natalya locks her opponent in the sharp shooter , starts losing control of her gas, and then it becomes a gimmick where her opponents tap out the minute she locks them in it to avoid her chemical warfare? Really, this is beyond stupid.

The most recent Impact was interesting. They must truly be starved for wrestling across the pond as that arena looked packed.

It actually reminded me of when Mickie James made it known that she was leaving in a month or so and she suddenly became Miss Piggy James. I wonder if Natalya had made it known backstage that she ready to leave over her terrible booking.

Oh, 'rise above hate' indeed WWE!

^ I honestly feel that she would be better booked in TNA. Most likely not paid as well, but still, at least she might be able to do something worthwhile.

Sadly, wrestling has surely gone backwards since Vince has had no competition in over a decade and doesn't even try anymore. I can't even imagine 'writers' sitting in a WWE creative meeting thinking that having a woman fart is going to get her over. I don't believe that BS excuse at all. It's either a slap at Natalya or at the Harts in general.

Go back 15 years and the only wrestler I can think of that would prefer working for a small company for much less pay would have been Shane Douglas. (Though that's probably because he knew he wasn't very welcome in WCW or the WWF) Even he reconsidered when the offer was right.

It says something today when all of these wrestlers prefer going to a small company for much less pay.

It's really only the women that leave for far less pay, as TNA pays their women nothing. But TNA does let their women actually work, unlike WWE.

The guys that TNA grabs from WWE get paid decently, at least the bigger names like Angle. In the end, most of the guys TNA brings in from WWE are castoffs. Angle wouldn't go to rehab so WWE let him go. Hardy had his drug issues then got arrested right after his WWE deal ended. Kennedy...Anderson was dumped thanks to Orton's whining, but it didn't help that he was injury prone as well.

About the only guy in TNA that could be in WWE if he wanted is RVD. He's chosen the smaller company for less pay because he likes weed and doesn't want to be subject to WWE's drug testing. And even TNA doesn't use him all that much anymore.

They've gotta be paying Mickie James some money, right? I think just like the male castoffs, they'll pay for the "WWE name" for the females too, it's just the homegrown talent, most of whom they know won't jump ship, that they treat badly/underpay.

Angle gets paid nothing compared to what he could have gotten from the WWE. No way is he getting the merchandising money he would be grabbing in the WWE. He just didn't like being told to take some time off and get himself back into sane shape.

How many drug suspensions have numerous guys had and are still not pushed out. Half the company has had substance-abuse policy 'suspensions'. How many guys have come back to an open door after leaving? Road Dog just came back for example, and that's a guy that has numerous shoots online calling HHH every rotten name in the book. I can think of a lot of guys over the last decade that went to TNA for less pay but more of a top spot or being fed up with WWE creative...

Christian, Dudleys, Steiner, Sting, Angle, Jeff Hardy, RVD are just the beginning of that list of talent. If you think the WWE won't bring Hardy or any of the others back in eventually just wait. RVD has already stated he's probably coming back when his contract is up.

Christy Hemme is probably the only one getting paid more in TNA though, at least compared to the other working KOs. Everyone knows why she was pushed out of the WWE. (Jealousy with Steph over HHH) Mickie James is the second highest paid KO. Both are over 100K a year.

Truth gets zero crowd reaction. Too bad they destroyed that original heel heat he had by making him a cartoon character. Now trying to make him a face again and no one cares.
