Well heck, looking over the qualification methods for both European competitions and at both the EPL standings and the matchups for the Champions League and FA Cup, it appears that all of the current top 8 sides except Everton are guaranteed to be playing somewhere in Europe.

That is correct. Liverpool will be in even if they fall out of that top 8 status (ugh. Better win the FA Cup this weekend to make up for this season)

Cisse was the buy of the season in January.
