Main event turned out to be better than expected---While it lasted. I was really surprised that the ref (Or even the HBO team) didn't even speculate to see how that cut and mouse occured. Berto always plants his head directly in front of his opponent's face whenever he ties them up after throwing a flurry, afterall...

damn, Lucas Matthysee is out of his fight w Morales on the Mayweather/Ortiz ppv. Morales will still fight, but no opponent yet.

Also, the ppv is 70 bucks in HD (and will be availible in several hundred movie theaters for 18-25 bucks

Eh, Lucas probably wised up knowing that there would be no way he could win a decision against Morales. Of course, this means Morales will now fight someone MUCH easier and win that bogus title....Speaking of which, shouldn't the damn WBC just rename itself the MBC by now? (Mexican Boxing Council)

Anyway, interesting weekend lined up. Starting with ShoBox, Vitali/Adamek (First airing will be in the afternoon as usual. With a replay at night) and Gamboa/De Leon afterwards.

Didn't see it, but I see that McCloskey emerged victorious. From the sounds of things, it certainly was more competitive than what flooded the TV airwaves over here tonight.

theres rumors that Timothy Bradley may end up signing with Top Rank and fight on the undercard of the Pacquiao Marquez ppv, lining up a showdown with Pacquiao supposing the fight with Mayweather doesn't happen

What time do you think the actual Ortiz/Mayweather bout will start at? I'm going to be late to a friend's house who's ordering it but would like to get an estimate on when that fight may start at?
