Spurrier trying a bit too hard for this first SC TD. He's already spent 2 TO's in the first eight minutes of the game. And he only ends up with a FG.

Iowa has turned the ball over 9 times in the last 3 halves of football, against Indiana and Northwestern.

I would love to see this offense against Alabama or Florida

Or Oregon which is possible if both win out and meet in the Rose Bowl...

Northwestern fourth and 1. They run a QB sneak and pick up the first down, but their own coaching staff called a timeout right before the play to nullify the pickup.

Well, in both HD and SD the Notre Dame game has nothing but background sound. It is announcer free.

NW looks to be grinding it out. Each 1st down will cost 2 minutes. Good strategy

Iowa converts the 4th down to stay alive.

...but they fail on the next 4th down. Northwestern wins.

Re: College Football - Week 10 - *Now Eye-Gouge Free*

gotta mention again.. love that i can see the auburn game against furman on espn360.. hdmi cable run to the plasma, and looks pretty good

was flipping back and forth on 360 between that and the iowa game... great win by northwestern
and really nice to see auburn actually taking care of business against a nothing team so that we can see all the young guys in the 2nd half.

Because I'm helpful, for the banner that has a picture of the losing fans after every Iowa game

Re: College Football - Week 10 - *Now Eye-Gouge Free*

it was hilarious watching the Iowa team and crowd booing and whining in complete shock that the refs weren't calling penalties on NW to help them drive for the tie

They will get pasted by OSU next week too...no BCS for you!

The B11 is so bad this year, I really hope they lose out so the conference isn't completely embarrassed come bowl season...put them in the Cap 1 against a team they can at least compete with...otherwise it's just going to be ugly.

Re: College Football - Week 10 - *Now Eye-Gouge Free*

Just decided to pop in for the ridicule.

Losing Stanzi kinda sucked...eh, maybe now everyone won't boo him for every incomplete pass yet cheer for every completion....haha......If he hadn't gotten hurt, your 'fraud' probably would have not fallen until next week......probably.

I'm still looking forward to at least a 10-win regular season...which is pretty damn good, in my opinion, of a team I was hoping would get around 8 wins in the regular season.
