Nice to see the Blue Jays hold on for the win yesterday. It was a nervous 9th as Scott Downs struggled to preserve the win for Tallet in a non save situation.

I like what I'm seeing so far from this Blue Jays team with a make shift pitching staff and hitting from unlikely sources (Hill, Scutaro and Lind). The big question is, is this team for real (like the Rays last year) or will they burn and crash once they start playing their divisional rivals this week? Time will tell.

The Cards looking to prevent a 3-game sweep by the Reds. Led 7-5 going into the bottom of the 9th. Ryan Franklin gives up 1 run and with 2 outs faces a pinch-hitter---pitcher Micah Owings. Granted, he's tough but that's an out you have to get. Instead, Owings homers to tie the game.

Of secondary nature, it robs Adam Wainwright of a victory and naturally he's on my fantasy team.
