I'm really looking forward to the Red River matchup. Finally get to see some of these B12 powers go at it.

Why is such a great game like Oklahoma-Texas played at 11am CT? That would suck.

I'll be at the UF-LSU game (night games are the best!) but I'll be trying to watch as many games as possible.

Same here. Can't wai- ........ what's that? Really? My son's soccer game is at 1pm on Saturday? Oh. OK.

Looks like I will miss most of this matchup. Again.

At least Saturday night is gonna have some great games.

It's always been that way. I like kicking the day off with the best game at the start.

I wonder if Florida hadn't lost to Ole Miss if Gameday would have been there for a #4 vs. #2/3 matchup instead of at the Red River Shootout?

Doubtful since Herbstreit is calling the Red River game with Musburger (and there is no ABC evening game scheduled).

Do you trust anyone on the offensive staff to coach the O the rest of the season? I don't. Hugh Nall turned an offense with a NFL QB, 3 NFL running backs, 4 NFL receivers and 2 NFL O-lineman into a mediocre, predictable offense.

twikoff, what was the deal? During the bowl game they were ranting and raving about him, and now he's out. Was it a case of "either hire him and give him full control of the O, or don't hire him at all"?

How odd. Yesterday Franklin was on fire at practice and Tubs was saying he was committed to the current offense. A guest on Finebaum's radio show in B'ham says Tuberville's job could be in jeopardy over this. I don't see that, but who knows?

it looked alot better in the package than it did when we got it home and opened it

sure.. all the pieces werent in place and it couldnt really be run properly using our current personnel.. but we have very strong offensive players, that under a decent coordinator could be putting up alot of points.. but tony is a one trick pony, and that trick wasnt working at all..
noone wants to sit back and lose for awhile, listening to the excuse that its going to take time to build around his system.. if he could have pieced together a halfway decent system in the meanwhile, it would have been one thing.. but when having to stray from his offense (that as recent as last season he has been selling to anyone with a checkbook anyways) he was completely worthless to get anything done.

i would think tubs would be pretty safe.. we were all a bit blinded by the flash and promise of some ausome system.. but im just glad they cut their losses and went ahead.. now if they want to move in a diff direction for recruiting, its not too late.. i cant see them being able to land a quality OC during the season.. so the timing is kindof odd.. they may just have to limp along with what they have.. but really, letting the players just go out there and run fly pattens would be better than what we have been seeing
