I see the weather is quite fair today in certain places.

I so hope PSU and BYU go undefeated and finish 1-2. That would seemingly maximize the number of pissed off fans.

I believe Oklahoma State University is pretty good (not pretty average) this year.

Oh - you were talking about the other OSU.

They are. They were my 5 star bet yesterday at an obscene +14. Plus the minute Texas won, had to figure that Mizzou would start looking ahead to next week.

That being said, the Cowboys need to cut down on stupidity such as trying fake punts on 4th and 17 in your own territory. WTF was that?!

Unfortunately, most of my 2 and 3 star bets didn't do so well.

I believe OSU has a good chance of beating OU this year.

OU's defense is not only pathetic - it's non-existent - especially in the secondary. They can't cover me.

How about them Longhorns?

No one is denying that. They are VERY good, but at this point, I can't rank them ahead of Texas or Bama.

It won't matter in the long run given the schedule disparity.

Plus they lost their starting MLB, Ryan Reynolds for the year.

Also no one is denying that. They have by far the easiest remaining schedule of the top 5, outside of USC.

Wow. Good morning to you too.

Anyway, the AP:

1. Texas (39) 6-0 1,599
2. Alabama (26) 6-0 1,582
3. Penn State 7-0 1,492

I'll take it.

Pretty shocked that Oklahoma only fell 3 spots, and the voters jumped Florida all the way to 5th.

I'll be back on 11/15 when my other alma mater Lehigh spanks Bucknell. I'm sure it will be a beautiful day.

Yeah, let me know how that goes. I couldn't even tell you what Bucknell's record is. But since you seem big on football history, I'll point out that we have won an Orange Bowl. Has Lehigh?

No but Lehigh plays in the oldest continual rivalry in the US.

Clemson's rivals site is reporting Tommy Bowden is out effective immediately.

Brandon Tate, UNC's best player, has a torn MCL and ACL, and his career is over. That's an awfully huge blow to the Tar Heels. I don't think they can win the ACC now.
