Definitely in the argument for the best RB of all-time?

No.

Why not? He's right behind Sanders in total yards from scrimmage (though Sanders retired too early) and has seemingly held up even after being written off a year or so ago.

I like to revisit my old posts to see what everyone has to say.

I guess he's in the discussion, but no, he's not really a serious contender. It is fun to look back at what people said five years ago though.

Alot of the stats have become inflated because of the 16 game season. But the 2 that standout for me are are Yards per carry and yards per game.

Thats basically who I would put ahead of him. Brown, Sanders, Dickerson, Payton.

Don't you also have to take into account receiving numbers too (total yards from scrimmage avg per game)? Not that I looked them up or anything, and I think if anything it would boost Faulk.

I don't think LT2 is the top running back, but I think you could at least make a discussion of it. In today's league, I'm not sure we'll ever have players with the longevity of the older backs, and it seems we have way more rbs sharing duties than feature backs. We'll see how Peterson and Johnson hold up.
