just got it in the 11th. only his 7th of the year, and has not been thrown out this year.

Woohoo, just got home from the game. What a game! I'm so pumped I don't know if I can sleep tonight. Sparkling defensive plays, emotional crowd (lots of fights in the bleachers), Bonds' 500th, Giants win to take sole possession of 1st, wowee

500 / 500 is an amazing accomplishment. this is a record that will be hard to beat. i don't want to say impossible, but this one will stand for a while. i wonder who is the closest active player to joining this club?

all the press is about the 500/500 club.. and of course, he is actually in the 600/500.. and will probably end up at 700/500.
to join the club, will 500/500 put someone in the same ranks as bonds?

If ARod didn't paly for Texas, he would probably eventually get there (46 SBs is his high season total), but since Texas just sits around waiting for homeruns, he won't get a chance to steal much.
