A WWE Superstar or Britney Spears: Who puts in more work?
I was just chatting with a co-worker, and while he is not a Spears fan, he thinks that it's silly a guy like me who likes wrestling would not like Britney Spears because she's "just as fake." I argued that a WWE superstar probably puts in more work than Britney on average, and has more skill than she will ever hope for in terms of authenticity.
What do you guys think?

Your co-worker's an idiot. I hope he's not a friend.
I'm sure Britney has a very strenous publicity and tour schedule, but nothing compares to what a professional wrestler goes through day in and day out. Their road schedule dwarfs any touring performer, and their physical training is beyond belief.das

Considering Britneys profession is not possibly lethal I would have to say a pro wrestler puts in more work.

Just because wrestlers aren't on TV everyday doesn't mean there not doing there incredibly dangerous moves every day.
I'm sure Britney has to work out to keep her abs in shape and travelling isn't fun, but when she's on stage, its not like her "singing" is very taxing. |

Work doing what? Skill at what? How are their fields of entertainment even remotely related? Fake what?

I don't know but I'd love to see Britney in a bikini match with Stacy Keibler.

I think they both work very hard. While neither are what they pretend to be, it has nothing to do with the work. Britney may not be a musician, but a musical entertainer. WWE may not be athletes, but athletic entertainers. Either way, they both depend on keeping themselves in the best physical condition and memorizing their lines. But if you want a reason to hate Britney, just let it be becasue she is marketed towards 11 year old girls.

What does WWE "pretend" to be? And please, explain to me how on earth they are not athletes? WWE may not be "sports" by some definitions, but they are most certainly athletes. das

This poll is dumb and it shouldn't even be on a sports board.
