People don't like it when they are proven wrong, so naturally they just shut up.

I don't recal anyone here ever saying that the DH was created to protect pitchers from retaliation or beanings. I think the main arguement here is that Clemens is a wussy coward.

Seriously though, there was an article somewhere (on ESPN I think) speculating about how Clemens might have been angling for a suspension (by talking about then plunking Bonds) so he could get out of the Mets series and possible retaliation for Piazza. Interesting no?

Explain how he is a wussy coward. And please use facts to back it up instead of opinions or conjecture.

And he is not getting suspended. He did not plunk Bonds to try to get suspended either. He explained clearly that he was just trying to throw inside, and with Barry's elbow sticking in the strike zone, it's bound to get hit. What part of that is hard to understand?

This thread was never about Clemens. It's about players wearing protective arm guard.

The article was probably wrote by a Mets fan and/or a Clemens hater. I doubt he would mastermind a plan like that. Also, it seem like every players that get fine or suspension always appear. Well, I guess we will find out if he will appear the suspension or not if MLB suspends Clemens. If he don't appear, then you can call him a wuss.
