Reminder to do this week's challenge by tomorrow. It's easy -- kill four bears with a pistol. Do it and you get the best handgun in the game. Kills almost any enemy with a single shot - and not just to the head.

and Grace can die, but if she is one of your GFH, it will take time to get her back in roster (go into menu and GFH and select her. it will show how much time until she respawns). you can buy a perk to lessen the time. i stopped using Grace and the white chick and just used the jaguar and Bear (though they are not stealthy and usually don't get the not-detected reward, but can still shut alarms and get that. but, they kill everything and everyone so that was good enough).
so besides the ending in the beginning, there is only 2 other endings?

Grace wasn't on my team yet, she's showing an outstanding mission but I can't find her.
I'm interested in getting the season pass (which has 3 dlc, two of which are out now, and far cry 3, correct?)
Should I wait till I finish the campaign? I just beat the first boss. If I wait I'm more likely to finish it, and maybe it'll drop in price by then.

^^ I would wait. I think, by the time you complete the game, you'll be burnt out and might need a break. Take a short break and evaluate if you want the DLC.

Finished the campaign version of the game last week. Overall a fun experience, but I found out that Far Cry games end on a shades of grey note at best.

Surprised no one has mentioned the Mars DLC. I really enjoyed the Vietnam dlc but I'm having a hard time getting into this one. Trying too hard to be funny and like Borderlands I guess?

Haven't played it yet, but like the guns they give you with the DLC. They're insanely overpowered versions of sniper rifle, shotgun and machine gun with unlimited energy ammo.

Yeah Mars is extremely Borderlands-esque, which for me is a good thing. I like that the weapons don't run out of ammo. The queen boss battles are actually pretty challenging too, plus--no gravity. Oh and I can hardly believe the special power to become temporarily invincible is called
I love it when I'm running low on health and the message pops up telling me to use that ASAP.

I had my first free weekend in awhile so I started this game. Was instantly hooked, probably played 10-12 hours. I've gotten far enough in each region that planes are searching for me, which is really annoying when you're trying to do stuff like hunt and fish, or talk to NPCs to get information/missions.
I also hate it when you get captured by the siblings once you hit a new resistance level and then have to escape. It's unavoidable.
Other than that, having alot of fun.

So your level is about the same in each region? That would suck. I'd imagine tackling a region at a time is the best way to go. If you're "wanted" in one region and have the planes on your ass, you can at least escape to a different region if it's getting too annoying.

usually only 1 or 2 planes at a time i think. i don't ever remember them being too bad or annoying. just get high and a well targeted rocket launcher should do the trick, only need 1 or 2...

I bought the Season Pass during its current sale. Haven't played the missions, but I've used a couple of the weapons. The Lazerrific one and the one that looks like it are crazy.
I'm in a similar boat - one region is rescued, I'm about 2/3 through another and 1/3 the other. Only thing is it seems I'm really racking up the RP fast, but I've still got a ton of story missions, so I don't know if it'll slow down or I won't have completed them all before clearing both areas.
Every six-12 months or so I find a game I really get into and play the heck out of it - Far Cry 5 is the current one.
I agree, the first aerial dogfight kinda sucked, but I've never been good at those.

Nope, not there yet. Sounds annoying though, because the couple times I've flown a plane I've been bad at it. Helicopter all the way.

There's a big update 8GB just added. New Game + mode. More weapons including even more awesome space DLC weapons for Gold and SP owners. Not sure what else yet...

Yup, it's up now.

Any Zombie DLC for the main game wasn't present yesterday, but might be after I "purchase" the content today. I will check and report back.
Edit : Looks like Zombie DLC isn't new story or scenario like Vietnam and Mars. It's Zombie maps and horde mode, like CoD I suppose.

k. thanks Deck. might go try zombie mode. but, getting back into Borderlands 2. never finished and really don't even remember much of it at all, but getting the Handsome collection gave my all these bad ass tokens which upgraded my character significantly. but my health goes quickly. only 175 and level 5, but i thought 175 was pretty good. I do have an ok shield that regens quickly, but still I have to second wind it many times and Gunzerker guy dies fast. Don’t remember if that gets better later on...

Played the first section of Zombies last night (solo). Pretty darn fun. Shotgun works great against them--other weapons not so much. I found it quite enjoyable.
