Yeah solo playing is brutal. It made me hate competitive.

Probably because I generally main Supports and having people not be killers makes me useless.

yeah it sucks when you get stuck as tank or support and the people picking the DPSer suck. Its like "if you're going to be bad, at least be lucio or DVA instead of taking an offense spot and not killing anyone"

I respectfully totally disagree with you. Tanks and supports are the bread and butter of a great team. I want my best players in those slots because it takes a much higher level of understanding of the situational awareness.

What good is a dps hero if he doesn't have heals or a tank to retreat to? I don't want a support hero getting killed all the time and if your tanks go down it's retreat time. We can hold the line if we lose a dps hero no problem. I actually prefer just one dps hero either a tracer or 76 2 tanks to healers and a good Mei.

Tanks like Dva, Roadhog and Zarrya typically out dps most dps heroes at higher levels anyway.

Absolutely agree. I main Mercy/Symmetra. When I a playing Mercy I need a couple fat tanks who will attack because I can generally keep up their health/boost damage but they have to have enough health to heal rather than die in a single rocket.

My weakness is defending against a Pharah. When a decent Pharah is in the air I feel like she just eats teams.

She can be a nuisance a good 76 can destroy her so can a Zen or a roadhog hook.

Chiming in here. Been playing a LOT of this ever since the beta. My buddies and I don't play much else on Xbone. (I'm pushing level 600 soon). I seem to have settled in at ~2300 or so in Competitive (season high was ~2540).

IMO a terrible Symmetra or Mercy is just as bad as a terrible McCree or Hanzo.

I "main" Dva (along with Symmetra, Pharah, Zarya, and Mercy) but I've been playing a lot less of her since the Nerf. Been playing mostly Pharah instead on offense.

I play almost anyone but the snipers (Hanzo, Widowmaker).

I want to get better as Pharah. I cant seem to hit anyone with the rockets.
I almost have my new computer set up (waiting on the GPU) so I'm hoping things will be easier to hit on a 24 inch monitor than on a 15 inch laptop.

I played a bunch this weekend. I got ranked at 709, lol. I keep getting worse each season.
I've been playing a lot of the 6vs6 Unlimited. Its pretty relaxed with people playing who ever they want but still trying to win. Got a win with a team that was 5 Reapers and then me as either Roadhog or Lucio.

Is tomorrow's update also including the patch about Junkrat not being able to kill himself with his own bombs? I am pretty good with Junkrat but I do kill myself sometimes...especially in close quarters with a Reinhardt shield or small room battle.

This game is ridiculous fun. I usually manage to step away for a while but after a few weeks it pulls me back.

As with the last two seasons, I currently have an almost exact 50-50 W/L rate and a skill rating of 1750...climbed up from 1400 placement to 1980 and then fell back down. Of course I couldn't reach Gold with one more win.

EDIT: ooooh, also the nerf to Bastion....he is waaay overpowered right now. He literally cannot be killed by one person.

Yep Adam nailed it to me it's a buff. Lucio is my main and every time we play comp my friends ask me to play him. I normally average any where from 12K to 25K in healing depending on the match and end up with silver objective kills and bronze elims so shooting faster will help and me being faster on the walls and in general will make me even harder to take out. I can't wait.

I almost hit 1000 but a game with a Mei griefer (ice walling own team in spawn over and over) and a couple leavers dropped me back down.

If we get crushed and people leave....whatever. But I have had so many times where someone quits when we at least have a good opportunity to draw.

The good news is the higher you climb the less that happens.

I am a fan of her. She fills a neat space in the game. *Especially* her left trigger attack for moving people about.

she's a nice big target to aim at, lol. I've been shooting a lot of poorly played Orissas on Unlimited as Pharah and Widow

After playing with her and against her I believe she's a situational hero at best.

I am torn. She might be better than Roadhog as a tank in my limited opinion. Armor is nice, deals more damage than D.Va at range and provides some decent backup to attackers.

D.Va is better at skirmishing and attacking (as is Road Hog) but I feel like a Mercy would rather stick with an Orisa than a Hog and maybe even a D.Va.
