Watched 3 episodes so far... I guess the theme this season is food.

This season is making me fucking hungry so far.

Finished the season tonight. Thanksgiving episode was great! The 2nd to last episode, Unmarsi Un Po, literally gave me a panic attack watching it. Awesome episode!

I watched the first 4 episodes. Extremely enjoyable so far. The Italy stuff was fantastic. His accent WAS really good.

I liked seeing Lauren Miller (Mrs. Rogen) in the first date episode. I think she's really attractive. The stuff with the racist jar

Just finished watching episode 7. It was fantastic -- basically Denise's origin story. Her grandmother had me rolling:

"That’s why I keep telling y’all, if the police pull you over, just nod your head and shut the fuck up."

Nice to see that Hawkgirl is as bad of an actress on this show as she was on Legends of Tomorrow.

Wrapped it up this morning -- good shit. I love that Italian broad, though.

I was reading a lot of comments on FB from Italian viewers who weren't particularly happy with the stereotypical portrayals.

Just finished episode 6. That whole deaf thing threw me for a loop. Was a pretty cool episode, though.

Damn that ending! Great season. I enjoyed the different styles of episodes. Sucks that everything went to shit for him at the end.

Decided to binge watch Season 1 today. I'm lukewarm on Aziz Ansari. I put off watching it for a long time. Didn't expect to like it this much.

Nobody on this show seems to have a source of income. Yet bum around, travel, and wastes a lot of time. Make me jealous.

I could watch a whole series like the "I Love New York" episode.

Has anyone watched Aziz’s new Netflix special? I thought it was fantastic. One of the best sets I’ve seen in a long time. And I didn’t even care much for his earlier specials (though I love this show and hope it comes back).

I did. It was average. It had some good parts, but I was bored in others.

Nope. I tried but it seemed more like a pathetic forced apology for doing nothing wrong. Turned off after 10 minutes.

Re: Master of None - Aziz Ansari Netflix Comedy - Series Thread

It has been nearly four years since we last saw Aziz Ansari's acclaimed Netflix comedy Master of None, and while some feared the show had been cancelled after its second season in the wake of a 2018 sexual misconduct allegation against Ansari, a new report claims it is, in fact, returning to the streaming service for Season 3.

The report comes from UK-based comedy website Chortle, which not only claims that Season 3 will take place in London, but adds that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actress Naomi Ackie has joined the cast, and likely as Ansari's new love interest. In fact, Chortle claims that Ansari and co-creator Alan Yang actually started shooting Season 3 last spring on the down low, but production was put on hold due to the pandemic.

Season 2 of Master of None was filmed in both New York and Italy, so the show does have an international precedent, and Ansari has been living in London of late, so the new setting makes sense. Meanwhile, the Season 2 finale hinted at the end of Dev's relationship with Francesca (Alessandra Mastronardi) after she removed her engagement ring. Thus, it makes sense that Season 3 would find Dev living in a new city, trying to find love (and great food) once again.

“Allegations”. Just ignore it like most of them.

I certainly wouldn't say Ignore most of them, but this one in particular was garbage. Just a date that didn't go well and the girl tried to spin consensual sex into a date rape or something. It was ugly and the first thing people pointed to when they claimed Me Too was going too far.

Re: Master of None - Aziz Ansari Netflix Comedy - Series Thread

Yeah, Aziz got a raw deal with those particular accusations, it was just a bad date. Glad to see that the show is coming back but I can't believe it's been nearly four years already!
