Kingdom Hearts 3 (XB1 PS4)

Re: Kingdom Hearts 3 (XB1 PS4)
lol mfw the polls have options for 2014-2016 for expected release.
Shame it's not being released on PC though... I may have checked it out if it was, but since it's coming out only on console I'll pass.

Square Enix also confirmed a PS4-exclusive bundle, which will bring together Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5, Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3, seemingly included with the limited edition PS4 Pro.

I've put off getting the PS4 Pro, so this bundle might be enough to tip me over the edge.

There is also a deluxe version up at Best Buy for $80 that includes an art book and steelbook. I'm just trying to decide which system to go for.
Is there any content exclusive to Sony for their marketing deal?

(I almost bought the PS4 versions since they're $19.99 each.)

Speaking of 2.8, as well as the combined Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix collection, both of those titles are unavailable on the Xbox One, where Kingdom Hearts will be appearing for the first time on a Microsoft console. When asked about whether Xbox One players could look forward to getting those collections, Nomura said "not at the moment" but didn't completely rule out the possibility.
"We obviously would need to discuss with Microsoft if we are to do this or not, but we haven't even started the conversation yet. So just not at this moment," he explained.

The Gamestop exclusive PS4 Pro went up for preorder today for $400. Probably won't last long.

Re: Kingdom Hearts 3 (XB1 PS4)
This is completely random, but I still have a Kingdom Hearts 3 for Xbox One order on Amazon when it was super cheap at $40.99. I don't think i'm going to play the game since I never got around to playing 1 and 2, but rather then just outright cancel the order I wanted to see if anyone on here was interested in buying the game at cost first. I can just change the shipping address to whomever is interested, and would take paypal, venmo, or whatever for the cost of the game (+tax). If anyone is interested, let me know!

Re: Kingdom Hearts 3 (XB1 PS4)
There are incentives for playing on harder modes, Proud Mode being an extreme mode, was still fairly easy to beat. Just requires some possible grinding or knowing specific strategies against bosses.
I recently watched a video where someone beat all the bosses through some side-mini-game or w/e introduced with the Final Mixes or something... and he beat them all on level 1, simply because he could properly time reflect magic and dodges. So idk where you heard the games were hard, but that's certainly not the case... and they've all had difficulty settings so you can go into Easy mode and cheese your way through the game without any worry of dying.

I didn't mean is it easy peasy, I have heard some of them have been extremely difficult. I don't mind a good challenge, I just don't want it to be so hard I end up not playing it.

Re: Kingdom Hearts 3 (XB1 PS4)
More experienced gamers who go through speedruns manage to beat the game on extremely low levels, in a very quick manner, because there are certain strategies that pretty much guarantee an easy victory as long as you "time your attacks and counter-attacks perfectly".
My point being, the KH games aren't hard.

Re: Kingdom Hearts 3 (XB1 PS4)
I want to play this game but I wish the first two games would be available to play on Xbox One. Seems kind of strange to me that they’d re-release them on PS4 only, but yet the new one will be on PS4 and One. I only played the first one briefly (rented it) way back when it first came out, but the series has always seemed fun and the new one looks good. I guess there is that article from June of last year towards the top of this page but obviously nothing has happened yet with the first two games on One.

I'm still trying to figure out which pre order to keep. Have they made any solid announcements on frame rate or exclusive content for either version?

I decided even though I still have my $40 Amazon preorder from 2015 active, I decided I wanted the LE of this (Steelbook, pin) and recently made a Best Buy preorder. They immediately sent me a mystery KH keychain figure - and mine was Sora! It's actually pretty nice.

Re: Kingdom Hearts 3 (XB1 PS4)
Can't believe this is really coming out in 10 days!
I got an email from Amazon reminding me of the order I placed on 1/25/15. Exactly four years. Wow.
I need to cancel that order. That $40.99 was a good price, but with GCU and a $10 RZ (and that cool Sora keychain), I prefer the Deluxe Edition from Best Buy. After this brutal wait, I deserve a Steelbook and pin!

Deluxe Edition looks nice. Glad I splurged a little extra on it.
