Yikes.. thats a lot of towns. I think I have only about 10 right now. I'm going to add the rest from the list that was posted of DVDTalkers. That should give me maybe 20 towns to visit which will help with getting more snakes. I also need to start leaving eggs in other peoples towns and hope that some visit my town and leave eggs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I try and leave like five eggs per day in each of my friends' towns to spread the love. Except those days I try to spell out words / messages in eggs in someone's Springfield!

Does whacking snakes in someone else's town take the snakes away from them or are they bonus snakes just for me? I'd hesitate taking someone else's snakes.

So yeah. I took advantage of the Bhudda tip and got lucky. My town is a bit better now, although a bit disorganized at the moment.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've been getting ideas looking at all the towns of people here. I've reorganized my town a bit and added two small sections of the cheap, brown house since they built quick and generate a small amount of money every 5 minutes.

I've also been working on getting my * rating up. My overall is 4.5 *

The individual ratings are higher then when I started and just built things from the quests and such.

Indolenge - 5*
Consumerism - 4.5 *
Tree-Hugging - 5*
Vanity - 5*
Obedience - 5*
Gluttony - 3.5*
Righteousness - 5*
Socialism - 4*

I kinda gave up on the rating for now. I think the rating goes down as you level up. I ran out of money, so I already fell behind on building the quests. Can't afford to build tons of dumpsters and trees.

I've been assuming those snakes are in a bonus pool, but it seems like availability varies per town so I wonder.

Just tossed a couple waves of eggs to pheisey and one to Spatula_City

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

You get to whack 5 (10 if you buy the Elite license) snakes in other towns per 24hrs. It does not subtract snakes from that person.

Thanks I'll be hitting everybody up this evening. I gave away over 150 so far and I still have over 600 eggs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Mastered the Budda Homer trick on my iPad, I got 60 donuts, a tree house, apple tree and 10 white fence pieces in about 1/2 hour. It is a lot of work and the first couple times you could get stuck with stuff you don't want.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I went from about 275k down to 22K. I have to build up money before I can get the next building in the Fat Tony quest series. I got the first building. But the second one that I just got the quest notice for is 255k.. So it will be a while before I can get that built up.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I used my only donuts on attempting the Homer Buddha trick but it didn't work for me. I broke down and bought a tray of 132 donuts for $10 (I told myself I wouldn't do this; this is how it starts...) and ended up with Hans Moleman but when I tried to power down during the second attempt I still ended up with a bench. I play on my Android phone and I think the power down method is simply too different for me to be able to do this. I wonder if it would work on my wife's Kindle Fire HD.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

So I've been trying the buddha trick...

Items I've turned down:
burning bush - 9 times
green dumpster - 3
mystery box - 3
white picket fence - 2

Items I've kept:
Squeaky voice teen

Items I screwed up on:
burning bush - 1
pink flowers - 1
mystery box - 1

No idea why the burning bush has shown up so much for me! Wish I'd start to see some donuts.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

The Buddha trick is something that works if you play on iPad but not on an Android phone.

It is also a way to preview what you would get from the Homer Buddha before the donuts get spent and then shut off your iPad in case you don't want it.

I've only come to the game this month so I don't know if they've done it yet, but I've decided they need to do a sub-game based on The Land of Chocolate.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I did, sir. Enjoy!

Did the game tell you it was me? I haven't found a way to tell who is leaving me eggs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

You may feel free to add me, cmnplanet, as I've been playing since relaunch last summer and just dumped about 40 people from my friends list.

However, I do not need any eggs.

I'm finished with the core of Whacking Day (Fort Sensible through Miss Springfield/Sleep-Easy Motel) and really don't care about the Whacking Boxes post-12,500 snakes.

I can do egg dumps (currently have 500+) and would rather have those go to DVDTalkers. I've already added some of you, but let me know if really want to be added/eggs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Ill take as many eggs as I can get. I have two friends I trade with and all the rest I try to evenly distribute to dvdtalkers.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I updated the first post a little bit and if people have ideas on what other sorts of things should go in that, I'm all ears.

Going over the user list, I noticed jayderek's user name might be off. Jay, are you sure it has an 18 in it? I search without the 18 and I find you.

Also, there are a few people who have friend requested me but I don't have you on the list. Kindly pop in and let me know who you are:
- Brucefan79
- dan38oly301

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'll take all the eggs that you can give me, I'm 500 ahead of what I need on a daily basis but I want to get this finished! My user name is pheisey

I'll do an egg dump on Toddarino sometime today, I'm splitting up my eggs between DVDtalkers.

If anybody needs any let me know I have close to 700 now and I've been dumping pretty many off.
