Cancelled CH awhile back...

That's the new method. They keep the account open as a "Freedom Account" for *at least* 6 months just in case you change your mind. They will continue to send catalogs if you were on the print version. You have to either email or call again telling them you do not want a "Freedom Account" to get it fully closed - or just wait 6-9 months and don't use the account and it should be automatically closed.

If you want to recycle though, you have to make sure the account is fully closed and that will take a call to CH.

No. It's a "positive response" type program. They only send what you order. It's their way of keeping you on the string for a few more months hoping you'll change your mind and continue to purchase overpriced product. It's aimed at the casual shopper/member and an attempt to slow down those of us who cycle accounts on a regular basis.

Well that's alright then so long as I don't have to worry about responding once a month I don't care how long they keep it open, thanks for answering my question.
