No. Looking back, he provided a completely different PayPal email address back when our successful transaction occurred. That should have been a red light had I been paying attention.

You might want to give the mods that email associated with the initial Paypal address. Or hell, give everyone that got scammed that email address. Maybe someone will be able to track him down with the additional information.

Is scamming a few people out of $2 each really worth living life as a db (assuming he's ok)?

I'm guessing the former:
(from the thread posted in the previous page)
"he accepted payment from two people for the same items before the 8th."

"Yep.....we both paid for the same 3D blu-rays- I supposedly was buying ALL of them and mrcaddy01 was buying 5 of the same ones listed- never said he had multiples."

Looks like he made himself seem legit by providing UV codes to some buyers, but then scammed people on some Blu-rays.

Cockneys vs. Zombies for $1.50
Wreck It Ralph 3D for $3 - I have the sheet with the code only, I saw someone on Blu-ray.com mention a disc, does anyone here know if you need a disc for this one?
Is there a way to PM you, since I'm interested in a couple of codes

I did post my ebay name (where I've been selling since like 2000), if you think this has all been a clever ruse to trick somebody on this board into buying my GoT codes, then you have a far more nefarious mind than I, my friend.

Depends on how quickly you want to sell them. You shouldn't have any problem getting $10 each. You could price them higher, or split the UV and iTunes. You'd get more, but it would take longer to sell.

Re: Digital Copies: Buy/Sell/Trade

I've opened both my GoT S3 Blu/DVD combos and only seen one paper in each that says HBO Select Digital Code. Is that UV or iTunes? And where's the other? Thanks for any help.

Are you asking about the DVD discs? Or DVD digital codes? I have no idea how much the DVD discs are going for. But SD digital copy codes usually go for around 50%-60% of the HD code price. Most people want the HD codes.

There's just one code. And it redeems at 3 places. iTunes, Vudu and Flixster.

HBO shows aren't UV-compatible at Vudu. So you redeem it at Flixster to get the UV version, then redeem it at Vudu to get the Vudu version.

sorry for not being specific, i meant the actual DVD's of the Seasons, not the codes. HD codes + DVD's is what i wanted to part with from the Blu-ray sets...

HBO provides one unique code that is good for three different providers at the same time:

iTunes, VUDU, and Flixster

Bypass their provided digital redemption site and redeem each directly on the service of your choice, or you'll lose the ability to get all three services.

Most season codes of popular shows go for anywhere from $6 to $12 per season, but I would say Game of Thrones is on the lower end of that range due to so many of its codes circulating on the market.

You can sell the three different services separately, but you are then at the mercy of your buyers being trustworthy, as they can redeem the code themselves on the other services.

Re: Digital Copies: Buy/Sell/Trade

I finally decided to enter some codes in, might even be interested in trading here in the future. Selling seems like too much of a hassle for me, not going to worry about stuff for 2-3 bucks.

One question I have is that for Sony titles, if I enter the code in the Sony Rewards website, is it still able to be activated as a UV code by someone else? I figure as much, but to test it out, here's a code for Captain Phillips HD. I've already got the 30 points on the Sony website, seems like it might take awhile to get anything worth a damn there! First person to use it, please respond to see if it works under your VUDU account, or whatever service you use.

CAPXZ4VXPHTNECJ5

I've just been using VUDU, or are other sites better for, say, HD when using the mobile app? It's all a little confusing at this point, but I was also able to get about $150 in Amazon Video credit after actually seeing I hadn't activated any of my purchases at DRMC. Kind of neat how choosing Amazon just applies the credit. Not even sure what I'd spend it on, though. Thanks!

Re: Digital Copies: Buy/Sell/Trade

I used your Captain Phillips code. Redeemed it without a problem, and the title is in my UV VUDU library.

Thanks! But, just to be sure it works, maybe we should try another code?

thanks again beesonosu
