The Show - Giancarlo Esposito directs and co-stars in this movie about a Bachelorette-style show host (Josh Duhamel) creating a show with on-air suicides. Famke Janssen and Caitlin FitzGerald co-star. I wasn't bored by it, but something about the whole thing was just kind of off putting, past just the subject matter. Other times it felt like a throwback to Running Man. It heavy handedly said nothing.

47 Meters Down
Low budget shark thriller. Kind of similar to The Shallows except this takes place mostly underwater and in a cage. I found it entertaining. Very short (under 90 minutes) and the twist was kind of predictable.

To The Bone - Netflix movie about a young woman dealing with anorexia. Stars Lily Collins, Keanu Reeves, Lily Taylor, and others.
I liked it, up until the near the end. Apparently it has gotten some criticism for how it portrays eating disorders and their treatment. I read some of the articles criticizing it, and it seems like eating disorders are such a touchy subject that you're going to upset some people no matter what you do.

The Woman in the Fifth - 3.5/5
After recovering from a mental breakdown, an American writer goes to Paris to see his daughter who lives with his French ex-wife. While there he begins an affair with an older mysterious widow who may be real or a figment of his imagination. Interesting psychological thriller about a man facing hardships while trying to hold on to his sanity.

The Kreutzer Sonata (2008) - 3/5
A beautiful concert pianist engages in an affair behind her boyfriend's back with an older wealthy man. She eventually dumps the boyfriend and marries the older man. Knowing her past behaviour, he now becomes overwhelmed with paranoia and jealousy whenever she's not around him. Well acted but very predictable.

Swindled - 2.5/5
A group of con artists plan for one last job that will land them enough money to retire. The only problem is who can be trusted? Not a bad film, but if you've seen House Of Games, The Sting, and The Grifters, you can see the twists coming from a mile away.

Gillian Anderson and David Arquette were in this.
A Lifetime movie with quality actors.
It looks like Amanda Seyfried is not as big as she use to be and getting less roles.

Don't Torture a Duckling (1972) — Not great and not exactly shocking today with the twist but I still enjoyed it with its giallo-like film-making style. 3.75/5

It was ok but should have been great.
I don't think it has been released on Blu-ray.

For her next project, an author of romance novels decides to write a tale of the supernatural. As she writes her story, it starts becoming reality when it opens a gateway to an alternate world of forgotten souls. A film with interesting ideas that are put to waste because it can't decide what it wants to be.

The Little Hours - Not the laugh a minute style flick I was expecting, it's surprisingly a pretty solid movie though you have to get into the pacing of it. Liked it. Who hasn't made out with Kate Micucci at this point?
