So a DC employee was on, of all things, a podcast that talks about Bond girls (James Bond, not whatever sick thing you guys are thinking), and at the end she reveals that DC Universe will launch in late August (she thinks), and that it will be a "hub for all things DC" and will, most importantly of all (if true), "we're going to have a lot of comics on there."

Not sure how long this has been but I noticed recently Marvel trades are no longer routinely half off on Amazon. Hopefully we get another 80% off Kindle sale soon because I've recently become accustomed to holding off on trades.

It sounds like there was a hike a few weeks ago, and then followed by another hike. I usually wait for sales and haven't bought a new trade since the 99 cent deal ended. They do have a 50% off code right now that stacks, so that's something, but I'm hoping for something big for Comicon.

I'm starting to think that after the retailer complaints about the 99 cent new release trades a couple months ago that we'll never see those Kindle discounts again.

For a company like Amazon to get away with selling new omnibus digital trades at $0.99 a pop; I'm betting on them finding sneaky underhanded ways of pulling out deep discounters in the future.

Is The Crow only available digitally though Kindle? Never seen it in Comixology and Kindle has it almost as expensive as the HC book

You mean the original series right? There have been dozens of Crow series, many on Comixology, but not the original. In fact, it looks like nothing from Kitchen Sink has been digitized. Rights issues maybe?
