These are all part of a holiday shipper stand that can be found in stores as well. It also has The Wire on there for $54.99, Friends The Complete Series, and one or two others I can't think of right now. Each section has room for two to three copies of each series.

I own that set. It is seriously the WORST PACKAGING in the history of physical media. A super-flimsy cardboard box with discs in fold-out trays for some reason. It will get crushed in a day. No idea why they didn't just put it in a plastic case like every other movie.

I assume they use junk paper packing to save a few cents, just like a lot of CD releases these days don’t come with plastic cases (plus modern plastic CD cases are a lot flimsier).

It's from Fox. Their packaging has gotten to where it's the worst in the industry. They've never been too customer friendly with releases and now their packaging is reflecting the contempt they seem to have for releasing anything at all. At least it's not pages with slots for the discs.

I get free shipping as an Elite Plus member plus the RZ $$ so I go there first before Amazon for media. I don't buy that many but haven't had one problem with an order or delivery.

Does it really save that much, though? The paper itself may be cheaper than the plastic, but there is a whole hell of a lot more printing on the paper packaging than there is on a simple plastic case.
