Waiting on my copy from Amazon. My plan is to play it and sell it on ebay. Guess I will see how good is good once I play. If it is really that good, I can always pick it up later once it reaches the sub $30.00 price.

Exactly on both counts. This will hold me until Black Ops, and it's like not letting critics screen your movie: Almost always NOT a good sign...

With the way this has been so heavily promoted, I had much higher hopes. Maybe they should have spent more on development and less on advertising (because a great game can be its own advertising).

Not sure if I'll start out on Normal or Hard, probably the latter just to make it last. May re-sell after that. Was really hoping for more, but we'll see...

8.1 from GT, but listening to the review you'd think it was going to be lower. They also confirm the single player is only 4-5 hours long.

I picked it up anyway...35 bucks with my Enslaved coupon at Kmart, and another 25 bucks to use on Fallout...could not help myself.

I don't buy these types of games for the single player. I usually get 40+ hours out of the MP and move on.

Anyone throw this in and start playing yet? Just got mine from Amazon but am not as excited as I was before the actual reviews starting coming out. Can't really figure out why they'd make a game with such a short campaign, and I HATE the mention that it's not often clear where to even go...

I went home for lunch and installed it on my HD, and redeemed the code...I had read that EA's servers are down, and in fact I could not join a MP game....I plan on doing the single player first anyway...

It wouldn't surprise me. Battlefield servers are always screwed up the first couple days.

Same!! EA can suck a bag of dicks. How in the world can they not be prepared for a server onslaught??!!?? This better be resolved by tonight.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

I got this for my birthday and I'm bummed that there's no split-screen mode as I find that I play split-screen multiplayer on games like COD and Halo more than online multiplayer. I'll probably just power through the single-player campaign over the next few days then sell it. I might just skip the MP altogether and just wait for it to be done right in COD.

I've always been a fan of MOH, but Im not sure I wanna pick this up or not. I already know someone that beat the single player is just over 5 hours. The main reason I wanted to get this game was for the HD version of MOH: Frontline for PS3... anyone know when that will get released on the PSN?

I really like the single player, but the multiplayer is terrible as expected. I was hoping for some fixes from the beta, but it's just as buggy and laggy as ever. You basically run around solo hoping to kill someone before the game declares they killed you first with lag. No teamwork, no real objectives, every map looks the same and all enemies blend into one large gray obstacle. Bad Company 2 is a 10/10 for multiplayer, this is about a 3/10.

I hate hearing that because BC2 is such a great MP...

I am also liking the single player a lot. I am just on the 4th mission, but so far it has been better than the 6 from IGN had me thinking it would be. But the graphics...talk about two extremes. The first level looked good...in fact fantastic in parts...the second level started out ok, until I came up on the rusted out planes. WTF? It looked horrible. Missing textures and bad last generation textures...it was almost like an unfinished level. I kept waiting for that unreal engine to finally load the textures, but it never did. I would say the first level was a high 8 out of 10 for graphics, but that part of the second level was a 4 or 5....how could quality control let that happen?

Also, do yourself a favor, even if you never play a game on hard...EVER..play this on hard. It may just spike in difficulty later, but 4 missions in and it is easier on Hard than MW1 and 2 on normal. WAY easier...

what? its not laggy or buggy. I have no lag at all. Teamwork just depends on who you are playig with, I mean this could be said about every game including bad company. If you are complaing about Lag, Bad Company 2 was probably the wost when it comes to lag, the game was unplayable for months almost.

game is great so far, MP is excellent, nice blend between MW2 and BC2 I like that its not as crazy as MW2. I do agree with the lack of varity in MP maps though. Hopefully this will be fixed through DLC

So far I would give this game atleast a 8.5. I am loving it.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

The lag is insane, if you can even get into a match. Every single round starts with constant stuttering and pausing for a good 2-3 minutes until it can "smooth" itself out, yet still has some hiccups here and there. Not just for me, same for everyone I play with. Also, the bugs are outrageous. My personal favorite was the round where everyone was invisible, or maybe the time where I would spawn with the enemy team the entire game.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

I played about two hours tonight and didn't experience any lag. As someone who played a lot of of BFBC2 multiplayer, I quite enjoyed the objective modes. Much faster paced and not as mindless as regular deathwatch modes. Frustrating to get teammates who aren't going for the objectives.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

Just finished the single player campaign. I'd say it took about 5 to 5 1/2 hours on Normal.

I agree with others that Normal is very easy. Similar to the lowest setting on COD. Only died about 10 times total. And never more than twice on any level.

Ran into a glitch on the final level. In the cave with the red flares, something kept happening and my partner wouldn't advance, so the game was basically stuck. I'd have to keep reloading the last checkpoint. Took about 5-6 times before it finally worked correctly.

Other than that, it was a lot of fun. The gameplay was pretty solid. A big improvement over the previous MOH game.

Re: Medal of Honor (360/PS3/Wii/PC: 10/12/10)

this game is a glitchy mess. Glad I canceled my preorder and just rented it. I could not advance in single player as my AI squadmates kept blocking a door. Then i was able to start walking through walls and closed doors until i was completely outside of the level and kept falling into the floor until the screen would turn grey and I would die. After 3 checkpoint restarts I finally had to redo the entire level (level 2 inside the warehouse). Then on level 3 the same thing happened again. Something is all messed up with the triggering of the storyline

I've seen a couple other people on the Xbox and EA Forums reporting the same glitches.
