Show me your fav Android games!
Got a fancy new android phone the other week, but i'll be damned if I can find any good games for this thing.
There's a couple bejeweled clones, and that's about it. some lame-o puzzle games, but I haven't found something meaty enough to keep me entertained on a long plane ride.
Any suggestions?

I've yet to find some really solid Android games. Dynamo Kid is supposed to be really good. That started life on the Android and was ported over to the Apple platforms...

Robo Defense is very fun.
It's a towers based game and has a lot of unlockable achievements that adds a lot of replay value if your'e into that sort of thing...

I've been playing Angry Birds (the beta/lite version), which is a pretty fun puzzle game, kind on Like a 2d boom blox. I know it was pretty popular for a while on the iphone.
I got a free demo of Robo Defense, I haven't played it enough though.

I did read that they are making a pay version that will include no ads, plus a few extra levels etc..

Finally tried Zombie, Run! Having the game run while you're driving doesn't work (if this sounds dangerous, you'll have to see how it works to understand why it's okay to leave it running on a mount) but on foot it's pretty fun.

It isn't so bad if the ad is on the bottom, but I keep getting them on the top right which impedes my view from shooting my birds. Especially that blasted boomerang bird.
update your angry birds too if you haven't, there's a whole new 4th level now.

That's my complaint if you can have one for a free game. My ads are always in the top right and it makes it distracting to kill those green piggies..

Not a huge fan of "phone gaming" but I have to say that Angry Birds is pretty neat.

Alchemy is indeed oddly fun. It is a great little time waster when I have just a couple minutes.
I really wish I could get some variations of Minecraft on my phone.
Have you tried the Chess.com app? It is free and links to the website. It lets you play against a decent AI or play turn based against people online. It is pretty much my go-to chess app now. They have an app for the iPhone, Android, and even Facebook so I can pretty much take my turns no matter where I am.
