The article actually says the game could make me rape people, which must be true, or it wouldn't be on Fox News.
This is kind of what I was afraid of...bad press for games in general...sensationalizing about what games do to the children...because, you know, they are the only ones who play games. Sigh.

Weichman's a guy who does a lot of public speaking events at schools, which he charges for of course, so him willing to be give a Helen Lovejoyesqe quote isn't a surprise.

The media is going to sensationalize things like this regardless. Just look at the controversy over Mass Effect's "sex" scene.

That Fox article actually reminded me to check out the Bulletstorm demo (forgot I downloaded it). It was okay, but got bored quick, and don't plan on buying the full game. Eh well...

There is very little true psychological advice in the book which focuses on teaching women to lie, cheat, and manipulate to get ahead instead of standing up as their own person. This type of poorly written trash leads to an increase in rape and other violent behavior."

Famitsu gave Bulletstorm a 9/8/9/8....solid score, though Famitsu is ALL over the place at times with reviews, but if this holds up like most of their reviews of non-Japanese games, then we should see high 8's, with a few low 9's from sites like ign/gametrailers.
