Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)

Based on that Edge of Darkness pic, it looks like WB is going to be selective now on slipcover usage on new releases. I like them when they're included, but it wouldn't bother me if they all stopped using them. That's an easy way for the studios to cut costs.

BTW, I saw 1 copy of Tombstone in Walmart today for $20 and decided to buy it. I know it's gotten mixed reviews, but I love that film. I just hope I don't find it too dark like some have complained about. I doubt we'll get a new version anytime soon.

Escape from L.A., Event Horizon and Avatar. Not been able to watch any yet but based on the DVD talk review of EFLA, I am really curious about the picture quality of it...

GenPion, are you aware of the B&N deal where you can get it for $15, give or take a buck? Go to the DVD bargains forum, find the B&N thread, and read the last four or five pages of it.

I was completely unaware, and now I have had the nice surprise of getting to order it today. It should be here before the weekend (just in time for me to enjoy it following completion of my finals)! THANK YOU!

Well, it is a pretty recent purchase also, only 10 weeks old.

The B&N price was good enough for me to get it. Glad to hear the good words from you, its a blind-buy for me.
