Went to a flea market today, picked up 5 videos including 3 seasons of different TV series and 2 movies. Of the five, 3 were DVDs: Surface: The Complete Series, Primeval: Volume One, and Frankenstein (2004 miniseries) for what turned out to be $1.60 ea.

Went to a flea market today, picked up used copies of The Lathe of Heaven and Armageddon (2-disc The Criterion Collection edition in the alpha case) for $2 ea. The cases show a little shelf wear but cleaned up pretty well, all 3 discs were absolutely spotless.

I bought The Perfect Storm 2000 DVD for $3.99 at a Dollar General, a title I've never owned, though I did see it theatrically.
It brought back the early days of DVD to me with all the extra content, including CD ROM.
I was impressed with Dolby Digital 5.1. I've calibrated all my inputs though, for each audio format, lossless and lossy, so YMMV. Good surround usage and very good LFE.
