VIZ Media has announced that it will serve as an official distribution partner for Aniplex of America’s domestic debut of the BLUE EXORCIT anime series. VIZ Media will carry the new action series (subtitled) on its VIZAnime website beginning
Wednesday, April 20th, just days after its eagerly anticipated debut on Japanese TV on April 17th. New episodes will stream on the site every Wednesday.

In the animated series, Rin, along with his twin brother Yukio Okumura are raised by an eminent priest, Shiro Fujimoto, but one day Rin discovers that their biological father is actually Satan! As the border between “Assiah” (the human world)
and “Gehenna” (demon’s world) is intruded upon by evils, Rin vows to become the ultimate exorcist to defeat his own father, Satan. To hone his raw skills, Rin enters True Cross Academy to train with other exorcist candidates. Can Rin fight the demons and keep his infernal bloodline a secret? It won't be easy, especially when drawing his father’s sword releases the demonic power within him!

Comedy/action anime to launch on April 14 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time

Funimation has confirmed the reports from licensing news site LicenseMag and Viz Media's official Shonen Jump Twitter account stating that Funimation has partnered with Toei Animation to stream the television anime adaptation of Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's Toriko manga. The comedy/action anime series is reportedly set to begin streaming on April 14 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).

Los Angeles, CA - April 13th, 2011 - Toei Animation Co., Ltd., Toei Animation Inc. and FUNimation Entertainment will stream the official English-subtitled episodes of "Toriko", an action/adventure anime series for teen audiences. Starting Thursday, April 14th 6:00 p.m. PST, four days after the Japanese broadcast, each episode will be available on www.hulu.com as well as www.funimation.com/video . A new episode will be rolled out weekly as "Toriko" continues its Japanese television run.

"Toriko" is an anime series based on the popular manga written by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro and published in Weekly Shonen Jump. Toriko is a legendary gastronomic hero chasing rare ingredients across the world to realize his dream: completing the ultimate full-course menu.

VIZ MEDIA LAUNCHES THE ANIME SERIES FULL MOON ON HULU AND VIZANIME.COM

Episodes 1-5 Will Stream For FREE With New Episodes Available Every Friday!

VIZ Media has announced the launch of the shojo-inspired anime series FULL MOON today on VIZAnime.com, the company’s premiere website for anime, as well as through the streaming content provider HULU (www.Hulu.com).

VIZAnime and HULU will stream episodes 1-5 (subtitled) of the series for FREE. Two new FULL MOON episodes will be uploaded and also available to stream for FREE each Friday!

Flower Mound, Texas (April 23, 2011) – FUNimation Entertainment announced today it is partnering with Media Factory, Inc. for the exclusive U.S. online simulcast of the action comedy series "Aria the Scarlet Ammo."

Takashi Watanabe ("Freezing," "Ikki Tousen," "Slayers" franchise) directs this anime adaptation of Chūgaku Akamatsu's light novel series about a special school where the teenaged students are trained to use weapons and become mercenaries. Kinji Tooyama is a second-year-student who has a special ability, but he keeps it a secret to maintain an ordinary, peaceful life. Unfortunately, this ability is beyond his control - especially around girls. This becomes clear one day when he is targeted in a bombing and he meets H. Starting next month, the online video service NicoNico will stream the anime series Blood-C and Uta no Prince Sama (Uta no Prince-sama— Maji Love 1000%) overseas, right after the first broadcast of each episode in Japan. The overseas streams will be available exclusively for one week in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa...

Update: Each episode will be free for one week. After that, there is a one-time subscription fee of US$0.25 for all episodes during the ongoing beta period. This US$0.25 fee for membership covers not just these two anime, but also covers all of NicoNico's membership services, such as the ability to stream live from your own camera-equipped computer onto NicoNico's site. The streams for the two announced anime will be English-subtitled.

NicoNico's English Site Lists 6 Summer Anime Titles

Dantalian, Kuro-Usagi, R-15, Twin Angel listed along with Blood-C, Uta no Prince-sama

NicoNico.com, the international English version of the popular Japanese video website Nico Nico Douga, is now listing six titles on its Channels website as "Anime title for this Summer." The titles include Twin Angel: Twinkle Paradise (Kaitō Tenshi Twin Angel), A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives (Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi), R-15, and The Mystic Archives of Dantalian (Dantalian no Shoka), and each has a date that is within one day of its Japanese broadcast premiere.

NicoNico had announced that it will stream two of the listed anime, Blood-C and Uta no Prince Sama (Uta no Prince-sama— Maji Love 1000%) outside Japan. NicoNico will stream Blood-C and Uta no Prince Sama with English subtitles right after the first broadcast of each episode in Japan. Nico Nico is also streaming live and holding panels at both Anime Expo in Los Angeles and Japan Expo in Paris this weekend.

NicoNico has not yet responded to ANN's request for comment on this page with six titles.
