I've used them for many subscriptions. Always get them fast. You have to write a 25 to 50 word essay on a product and do a short questionaire; but that takes 5-10 minutes at most.

I've never seen a free subscription to EW. However, people have listed really good deals like 1 year for $10.

I've been using this thread to get The Sporting News for free for years now and with this week's edition they've switched to a bi-weekly format thus doubling the length of my subscription. I'm now paid in full up to November 1, 2024. Crazy. I'll be lucky to live that long.

I used to love Giant. It was a cool entertainment mag for men. Now I think it's a hip-hop culture magazine full of ads and almost no substance. It goes straight in the recycle bin. It's a shame.

+1

Don't waste your time unless you are into that scene. I think the only article I've read in the past few issues was an interview with Alicia Keys.

Completely agree! Right before its reboot I gave a gift sub to a friend because I thought he'd enjoy it. And then the change happened and I felt terrible about giving him such a crappy magazine. I don't think he ever got to see its once greatness.

Haha. I did the same thing with Rolling Stone. I just couldn't take even being on the subscriber's list for that one, let alone having it come into my house. It just annoyed me every time I received an issue. But it was free and I gave it a chance. Just awful.
