I picked up the original screenplay for "Storm of the Century," which was a Made-For-TV special, and although I balked at the format of reading a screenplay, I was actually surprised that it was extremely readable.

However!

I'm also surprised that it is still only in "screenplay-format," and that it hasn't been rewritten in "novel-format."

Why do you think this is?

Practically all screenplays are translated into novels. They call those kinds of books "novelizations."

But who would do the novelization? Stephen King? He already wrote it once.
